GIFT WRAP SERIES # 7:
WATERCOLOR RAINBOW WRAP
Good Morning and Happy Weekend.
With St. Patrick’s Day one week away,
I wanted to give everyone enough time for preparations. I like to discuss, big and small, American holidays with our children and do in the English class that I teach, too.
Are your children looking for Leprechauns or pots of gold at the end of rainbows?  Several of the children in my 8 year old English class, spoke with certainty that “rainbows end in their own back yards.” If Spring and rainbows only came to Sweden a little earlier, …  maybe they’d find pots of gold, too.  For all rainbow chasers, this is a wrapping for you.

SUPPLIES:
Watercolor paints
1 broad paint brush
Water
Craft Paper
Scissors
Tape
Ribbon in every color of the rainbow and gold.

How to:
1) Wrap the package in thick craft paper.
2) Paint the top of the package like this: with a single swoosh, per color, paint watercolor rainbow stripes across the top of your package. Let dry.
3) Once the package is dry,  tie a ribbon across the middle or over the top and your package is complete. The children and I made matching cards with handmade green envelopes this year. I like the color contrast. Gold envelopes or a gold tag work well, too. Rainbow wishes.
