How to make Handprint Father’s Day Cards
:
  • – To make this Handprint Card, we traced our youngest son’s hand with his fingers held tightly together onto craft paper.
  • – We cut out handprint.
  • – Decorated the handprint and attached to card:
To make our version:
  • Our son:
  • – Painted the finger tops of his handprint brown
  • – Cut out white paper circles for eyes with green paint
  • – Added paper fringes for the lashes.
  • – Drew the nose and mouth with markers.
  • – We glued this hand head onto the card
  • –  Cut two slits at the base of the neck and slid the ribbon through the slits
  • (Mommy helped by tying a half-Windsor)
  • – Grayson finished his card with a message and a greeting. We can’t wait to surprise Dad!
More ideas:
  • – Cut fabric pieces for collar. We used an old pinstripe shirt and drew the neck line and buttons.
  • – We used googly eyes and painted on all other facial features.
